Didier Drogba could miss the World Cup

He is said to have a possible fracture of his elbow in the match against Japan following a collision with Marcus Tulio Tanaka in the 16th minute.
Drogba had to be helped off the pitch in considerable pain and did not come back. The results of an scan are anxiously awaited by Sven Goran Ericksson.
If Drogba cannot continue then the Ivory Coast is surely done for. It has not just lost its scoring leader, it has lost its heart and soul. The odds of getting out of the Group of Death were slim but with Drogba out, those chances are gone.
