Brazil have always been at the World cup.
They have contested every single one of the competition’s 22 editions from 1930 to 2022.In fact, they are the only nation to have contested all 22 World Cup tournaments. Germany are in second place having played in 20 World Cups, while Argentina, Italy, and Mexico are in third place having taken part in 18 World Cups.
This time around the big change is that World Cup 2026 has 48 places.However even so Brazil are having a hard time booking a spot in what will be their 23rd World Cup if they get there.They have huffed and puffed their way to 4th position in the Group after a last gasp 2-1 win over Chile yesterday.
With four matchdays left until the end of the year, only Argentina and Colombia seem to be on a clear path to the 2026 World Cup.Bolivia,Paraguay,Uruguay and even Venezuela might get in the way of Brazil making it to World Cup 2026 unless they improve their game.
