Switzerland showed defending champs Italy the door – beating them 2-0 convincingly and comprehensively.
Germany had to face some heavy weather in their game against Denmark which caused the game to be suspended for a while as conditions were not deemed safe.
After the storm clouds passed and lightning effects ceased the game continued and Germany proved too good for Denmark.The 2-0 scoreline could have been a lot higher if it were not for some seriously serious heroics from the Danish goalie.
