Japan were the only country that had previously won to remain in the fray. Not anymore. They were beaten 2-1 by Sweden (Highlights) . Sweden will face Spain in one semi final.The other semi final will feature two of these four teams – Australia or France and England or Colombia – depending on who wins those quarter final matches.
So WWC 2023 will have a brand new winning country.
