One more win would have seen Solskjaer becoming the first manager to ever win his first seven Premier League games in charge of a club.But it was not to be.United actually went down 2 -0 against Burnley before eventually managing to claw their way back to a 2 – 2 draw .And so United’s remarkable run of wins with Solksjaer in charge finally came to an end with the man so close and yet so far.
The history that almost got made remains unwritten.Pep has the small consolation that even though his team slipped up against Newcastle,his record as manager with the most wins in a row in the EPL stays intact.
