Sunderland got their first win of the season after coming from behind to win at Bournemouth. It was David Moyes’ first Premier League victory in 946 days.
“I’d nearly forgotten what it felt like to smile,” said Moyes. “We’ve got to keep going. You’ve got to get two wins. It’s certainly getting closer,” he added.
Moyes has also been speaking of his difficulties at Manchester United in the light of Mourinho’s current struggles there.
Saying kind of that it wasn’t entirely his fault that United failed to take off under him and that Fergie was a hard act to follow.
“In some ways, it does show that it maybe was not just down to Moyes,” he said,speaking of Jose Mourinho’s recent difficulties.
