Reduced Goalkeeper Holding Time
Goalkeepers can lie down and waste time for a maximum of 8 seconds. During the final 5 seconds, referees will raise their arm to visibly count down. If a goalkeeper fails to release the ball within the time limit, the opposing team will be awarded a corner kick from the nearest corner. Repeated infractions by the same goalkeeper will result in a yellow card.
Only Captains can talk to the referee
Competitions may adopt a rule permitting only team captains to speak directly with the referee. All other players must keep their distance, promoting discipline and minimizing conflicts during matches.So Haaland can only do this next season if he’s the captain- and the other two guys have to keep schtum.
