The phrase “There’s no such thing as a free lunch” was first spotted making the rounds in about 1930.No one knows who first said it and it is sometimes called Crane’s Law.

Manchester United,who are on a cost cutting spree,have decided that enough is enough.They have decided that it was high time to implement a law that had been doing the rounds since 1930.4

So they have sacked about 200 workers and told the rest that they don’t get to eat lunch for free unless they are on the team. (Soup and bread are still on the menu for free however.)
