Austria topped their group and France ended up 2nd in their group. Despite the presence of the masked Mbappe France could only manage a 1-1 draw against Poland in their last game. (Apart from breaking his nose Mbappe also broke his record of ducks in the Euro Tournaments by finally scoring that solitary goal that France scored.)
