Ronaldo chalked up his 700th club goal when he scored in Man Utd’s (much needed) 2-1 win against Everton.
450 for Real Madrid, 101 for Juventus,five for Sporting Lisbon and 144 and counting for Man Utd.
300 more to get to 1000. That seem like a distant dream now.Sunday’s goal at Goodison Park was only the second of the season for Ronaldo, whose 699th goal came in the Europa League against FC Sheriff in September. He’s winding down now. So let us enjoy seeing him play while he is able to still do what he was able to do so well – be a goal scoring machine.
(Messi on the other hand is on 691 goals and counting and seems to be in better nick than Ronaldo of late- so he’s probably going to get to 700 goals too sometime sooner rather than later)
