The Nation’s League,for those of us who have forgotten all about it,is not that thing that preceded the formation of the UN after world war 1 but a recently created competition between the 55 member nations of UEFA, started because “UEFA and its associations wanted more sporting meaning in national team football, with associations, coaches, players and supporters increasingly of the opinion that friendly matches are not providing adequate competition for national teams”

Portugal played Spain recently in which Spain played very well in the first half.
They scored but then allowed a late goal from Ricardo Horta to cancel Alvaro Morata’s opener.
Also C Ron got off the bench and made his presence felt in the second half – and his presence always takes Portugal to a new level.
