Fernando Martins and Renato Augusto are two Brazilian stars who are on a growing list of players whose dreams of riches have turned to dust.Both are in the Chinese Football League and both have complained to FIFA about non receipt of their wages.

China’s top soccer league is in the red.
They haven’t played a game in months.
Companies that once spent tens of millions to acquire players now cannot pay their bills.
The Evergrande effect is spreading.
Guangzhou F.C have had to part ways with Italian coach Fabio Cannavaro because they cannot afford to pay his wages anymore.They started construction on a 100,000-seat stadium last year and now it’s unclear if the team has the moolah to finish the job.
Wuhan F.C has been suspended from acquiring new players.
