Ronaldo v/s the luck of the Irish

ri
The luck of the Irish came off second best unfortunately.
The goalpost on the right side of the irish goal did it’s bit to support the team in the first half.Ronaldo missed a penalty (brilliant save by the Irish goalie) and Ireland took a well deserved 1-0 lead a little later.
The luck showed signs of fraying a bit when they when the Irish were denied a perfectly good penalty shout in the second half.It held on though till the 89th minute and after that things went Ronaldo’s way.He scored two goals between that and the 95th minute and also broke a world record in the process.
111 international goals saw him break the record held till then by Ali Daie.
Here’s how he did all that.

The cracking sound you hear in the 89th minute is due to the simultaneous breaking of many irish hearts
