For the second time in the history of things a Manchester United loss has resulted in Manchester City winning the title.
The last time it happened was when United lost at Old Trafford against West Bromwich Albion in 2017-18 – giving Pep Guardiola’s side the title.
This time its because Ole was compelled to field a second string side against Leicester City because of a fixture pileup caused by the postponement of their Liverpool game – due to that fan protest.
So the upshot of all that is that City have their 3rd title under Guardiola in 4 seasons and Liverpool and Westham have their CL qualification hopes hanging on a thread.
This is why all these things have come to pass- Man Utd losing 2-1 to Leicester City
