Zlatan’s transfer to AC Milan might help to revive the club’s sagging fortunes.
They are currently struggling at 11th place in the Serie A table, eight points away from a Europa League place and 14 from a Champions League spot.
AC Milan last won the Serie A title in 2011 and Zlatan was there then.
What’s also revived is an ancient rivalry between the mighty Z and the goal machine R.
They have faced off before in Europe — when Ronaldo was at Madrid and Ibrahimovic at Paris Saint-Germain — and also on the international stage at the 2014 World Cup.
Their history also extends to the time when they were both part of Manchester United sometime in the dim dark past.
So that’s something else to look forward to in 2020.
