Netherlands beat Japan with 90th minute penalty

Holland made it to the World Cup quarter-finals for the first time thanks to a pretty harsh VAR assisted 88th minute penalty call that went against Japan.
Holland had gone ahead in the 17th minute but Yui Hasegawa evened things up for Japan just before the interval.
The Japanese team showed off plenty of skill in passing the ball around in the second half but missed about a million chances to score.
And they came to rue that at the end.
