…and the Referee awarded him a penalty which he duly scored.Sterling missed a chance to do the sporting thing by owning up,but that,I suppose,is a bit too much to expect from sportsmen in these cynical times.
However he did say sorry afterwards.
But I guess that Ref is not feeling very good about himself.
