Holland are through to the final round of the UEFA Nations League Cup after securing a comeback 2-2 draw against Germany.
Earlier, against all odds,Holland had beaten France 2 – 0 in their last game.
This meant that Germany had already been relegated before they took on Holland in the last group game.
And all Holland needed was a draw or a win to get beat France and get into the finals on goal difference.
After having failed to qualify for both the Euro and the World Cup, Netherlands were expected to have ended up at the bottom of arguably the toughest UEFA Nations League group, but the Dutch are pulling off a remarkable turnaround under new manager Ronald Koeman.
Germany ended up the bottom team and they then gave the impression that they were not going to go into relegation without giving the Dutch something to remember them by.
They took an early two goal lead with two remarkably well taken goals.
Look at this one Timo Verner scored.
