Manchester City and Manchester United posted contrasting wins against their opponents in the League Cup.While United strolled past Swansea City with an easy 2 – 0 win,City played out their entire game against Wolverhampton without either side scoring.They eventually beat them on penalties thanks to a couple of great saves from Bravo.Wolverhampton become the first team to stop Man City scoring in 90 minutes since Man Utd in April this year.
Pep Guardiola said at the end that the ball was to blame.It was apparently too light.Mourinho did not have any unkind things to say about the ball.But in the last game that United lost – he blamed the wind.
