Chile did everything possible to dominate the game except score.The only goal came against the run of play when Marcelo Diaz made a terrible defensive blunder.Chile,though fiery and furious in attack,were just not able to convert their chances. Loew’s young side soaked up the pressure and scored when Diaz made his king size blunder.If tradition holds true,Germany will be unable to win the World Cup in 2018 because of the Confederations Cup jinx.In all probability this is the last edition of the tournament anyway so that will take care of that old jinx as well.
