Theo Walcott scored a 100 goals for Arsenal in Monday’s fifth round game against Sutton United.
He didn’t score all 100 goals in the same game – he scored his 100th goal in the game.
Wenger badly needed a win after the Bayern Munich bashing and Arsenal managed it – though not without quite a grim struggle against doughty opponents.
Lucas Perez scored in the first half and Walcott completed his century by scoring in the second half.
The 100th goal for Arsenal was his 15th goal of the season, and 2016-17 is currently his second most prolific campaign for the Gunners – his highest being a 21-goal haul in 2012-13.
Walcott has 63 Premier League goals for Arsenal, with 11 in the FA Cup and nine in the League Cup. He has hat-tricks in all of English football’s major competitions and is the only Arsenal player to have scored in both the League Cup and FA Cup final. So another feather in his already much feathered cap.
