Jamie Vardy scored two in Leicester City’s shock 3 -1 win over Liverpool.It’s hard to understand how a team that was playing so badly for so long suddenly played so well.The conspiracy theorists suggest that they had deliberately played badly to get rid of Ranieri.That argument was plausible in the Mourinho – Chelsea story.After all he Mourinho did have a falling out with his team after the Eden Hazard – Eva Caneiro incident.
But there is no parallel to this in the City – Ranieri story.To be fair to Vardy – he had shown signs that he was coming out of his goal scoring slump.
For now – Leicester are out of the relegation zone again – and hoping to keep it that way.
And Ranieri? He spent some time at the zoo with his family.
