Liverpool squander 2 goal lead against Sunderland

Klopp was critical of the refs after Liverpool allowed Sunderland to come back from a 2 goal deficit – both pf Sunderland’s goals being scored off penalties.
Liverpool would have closed the gap with Chelsea to 3 points had that game gone according to plan.
“I have no idea when a side of mine last conceded two penalties,”  was Klopp’s lament. He did not dispute the penalty decisions themselves but rather the decision to award a free kick to Seb Larsson – which ultimately led to the handball that led to the second penalty.
David Moyes’ meanwhile team gladly collected one precious point in their struggle to avoid the drop into relegation.
