Borussia Dortmund and Legia Warsaw scored a ridiculously large number of goals in their Champion’s League clash and created at least three records in the process.
The final score of 8-4 in favour of Dortmund is a new record for the most goals in a Champions League match.
It was also the first CL game ever where 5 goals were scored in the first 25 minutes.
At half time the score was 5 -2 and that too was a new Champions League record for the most number of goals scored in the first half of a game.
And in the middle of all those records Marco Reus scored a hat trick.
Dortmund gave away four goals in a home game and that must be some kind of a record as well.
This victory gives Dortmund a two-point lead over holders Real Madrid at the top of Group F.
All they have to do now is to beat them at theBernabeu in two weeks.
That will take some doing but will probably turn out to be some kind of a record as well.
