Buffon broke the 22-year-old record in the fourth minute of Juventus’ league match against local rival Torino on Sunday when he reached 930 minutes.
The earlier reco
rd of 929 minutes was held by Milan’s Sebastiano Rossi. It was accomplished in 1993-94, at a time when Serie A when legends Beppe Signori, Roberto Baggio, Gianfranco Zola and Ruud Gullit stalked the playing fields.
