Anthony Martial was both villain and hero in Man Utd’s 1-1 draw against CSKA Moscow.
He gave away a penalty for handling a goal-bound shot.De Gea made an outstanding stop to keep out the subsequent penalty kick but the rebound went to Doumbia – who then scored anyway.
So that was the villanous bit of Martial’s evening.
The heroic bit came a bit later when he redeemed his villany by heading in Antonio Valencia’s second-half cross.
De Gea was the other bit of cheer in an otherwise dull and dreary game.
