Chelsea getting beaten by Manchester City did not come as very big surprise.
The medical mess that Mourinho got himself into resulted in unsettling his team and made him a glowering presence at the sidelines.It was no surprise to see him glaring balefully at Gary Cahill and Diego Costa for getting medical attention without having any concern for the fact that it was again drawing attention to the problem that had plagued him all week.
The surprise was that he took John Terry off at half time – something he had never done before in an EPL game.
The same Terry that Mourinho himself had brought back from the cold after he had been sidelined by Chelsea managers like Roberto Di Matteo and Rafael Benitez.
