Diego Maradona became the business partner of energy drink ‘Style C’ launched at The Atlantis Palm late on Monday by the Active Exim General Trading Company, one of the leading manufacturers of juices, energy drinks and Vitamin C .
If you buy a bottle of Style C you can look at a picture of Maradona smiling at you from the bottle.
The drink comes in a well-shaped bottle which is more than what can be said of Maradona’s own shape.
Some of the things he said at the event included. “This is what I call respect and acknowledgement for what I have done in football,”
And then he fired a salvo at Blatter for good measure.
“Blatter knows nothing of what happens in the world of football. He must first realise that it is the football players who bring so much joy to millions of fans across the world, while he and his friends sit in air-conditioned surroundings and drink. This cannot continue. This needs to stop. Anyway, he is too old and it would be a shame for my sport to see him contesting the elections yet again,”
