The highly rated Serbian team was held to a stuttering draw against Poland. This is not how Radomir Antic would have liked coming into the World Cup. They lost 1-0 to New Zealand in a shocker.
Marko Pantelic had Lukasz Fabianski at his mercy. In the end he embarrassingly hoofs the ball harmlessly over wasting Dragan Mrdja’s nice effort.
The much maligned Fabianski actually had a pretty outstanding game. Which might be a bit disconcerting really because Arsenal desperately need a quality goalie and the last thing we need is Wenger to point to this game as proof that we don’t need one.
