A shambolic display with inept defending. Crosses, corners, and long balls and and out of position Tim Howard in each situation. To be fair to him, the defense gave no help. It was so bad that fans started exiting the stadium after the fourth goal in the 51st minute. Moyes looked like he has swallowed a toad.
Rafa is in the crosshairs but the same can be said for David Moyes, his derby counterpart.
A stuttering Everton display in the Premiership has seen goals dry up and if it was not for a rejuvenated Louis Saha the situation would have been dire. The defense rebounded after conceding six against Arsenal in the first match. But Burnley was a costly loss and draws against Wolves and Stoke have not helped. Everton are in 11th position and just like Liverpool could do with some badly needed wins. They meet Bolton, which always seems to run its opponents close this weekend. Moyes will be looking to regroup his players after yesterday’s horror show.
