The US surprised everyone including Coach Bradley by leading Honduras and closing it down 3-2. Two goals by the Rapids’ Conor Casey and a third by Landon Donovan sent Honduras packing. Now they might actually have to play Maradona’s Argentina to qualify (if Argentina loses to Uruguay on Wednesday, that is).
Well done Mexico. And well done USA. Now let’s have a great World Cup!

I Watched the USA team play here in the confed cup and was so amazed by the way their soccer is improved.So much so that they might be considered favourites in the next world cup.They are fast and very tactical which makes me want to watch them.I wish they carry with them 100,000 strong supporters and i will accommodate 40 as i have two magnificient guest houses here in cape town.We must have south african wine with the traditional sausages which of course will be grilled.
