Mourinho takes questions from a bunch of really small italian reporters …and looks really happy for a change.
One of the kids took a particular interest in Mourinho’s status as one of the highest earning trainers in football, asking if he gets paid even when Inter don’t win.
Mourinho replied: “Usually the Coaches earn more when they have been sacked than when they are working, but I prefer to work than earn more.”
Another kid said he rarely sees Mourinho having fun and asked him if he does actually have the capacity to laugh.
“Hopefully I laugh when I sleep and I have no need to do so after,” Mourinho joked.
On his playing ability he said, “I wasn’t a phenomenon but I haven’t done bad as a trainer.”
One kid called Jordan plays in goal and asked Mourinho if he had any advice.
Mourinho replied: “The goalkeeper is alone on the pitch. He has a different jersey. He occupies a different position and has to be good, not only technically, but also psychologically strong and determined.”
Final quote..
“Yes, I say swear words with my players and with my assistants when I am angry.I don’t see myself training a women’s team, because it’s already difficult training men and it would be even more so with women,”
So that’s what Mourinho looks like when he is out of the spotlight..
One comment on “The other side of Mourinho….”
“Yes, I say swear words with my players and with my assistants when I am angry.I don’t see myself training a women’s team, because it’s already difficult training men and it would be even more so with women,”
I didn’t get what was he mentioned.
