So far the former Aston Villa striker has proved to be a godsend for the NY Red Bulls and his two goals resulted in a 3-0 NY Red Bulls win over the Chicago Fire. And he provided the assist for Altidore’s opening goal after some neat footwork. The third goal was the result of a brilliant dummy by Angel. Last week the Red Bulls blanked Columbus Crew, 4-0 and Angel scored his first MLS goal.
3 games played: 3 goal scored with 2 assists. Talk about instant impact. He is making Bruce Arena look real good.

Sorry to share the bad news but Juan Pablo is married and has kids. His family’s excitement about moving to US was one of the reasons he accepted to come over to the Red Bulls.
