Great video, great cause!
But as to competition in Africa; have any of the East African countries ever performed well in the African Cup of Nations? Of course, this is besides the point, they have some of the best runners in the world; and many other talents but for soccer, for some reason, they seem to falter. I honestly, wonder why? It’s like their is a soccer belt of great soccer in Africa and it’s in the west and even tiny Togo we saw went to the World Cup.
I’ll ask people I’ve met from Kenya about this Kibera area of Nairobi.
Bless the UNC-Chapel Hill people as well; who lost their mascot in the last week for basketball; from a tragic car accident mentioned in their game vs. Georgetown on Sunday and who would have ever thought they were going to come up short in that game!
