Ole Gunnar Solksjaer scored twice to put Manchester United back on top of the Premiership with a 2-0 home win against Newcastle but it was Ronaldo who created most of the plays.
Ronaldo has been outstanding this season since returning from the World Cup despite all the booing he is getting for his wink and nod in the famous Rooney exit incident.
“Marvellous,” was Sir Alex Ferguson ‘s instinctive reaction to the first mention of Ronaldo’s performance. “But he’s been marvellous since the start of the season. Nothing fazes him; he’s got such great courage.”
Rooney on the other hand has been a shadow of himself but gets to play for England against Macedonia even so.
No such luck for Beckham .He barely manages to get off the bench these days.
