  1. I though the Australians were real men. They seem to complain more than the italians….They don’t seem to like it either when the shoe is on the other foot for a change…..I play soccer with a bunch of “clutzes” who run around with 2 left feet thinking they know how to play the game running around like wild horses…beautiful game isn’t it?????

  2. I have just read and signed the online petition: “FIFA World Cup: Flopping Penalty and Concurrent Replay” hosted on the web by PetitionOnline.com at:

I personally agree with what this petition says, and I think you might agree, too. If you can spare a moment, please take a look, and consider signing yourself.

  3. So with the team they show practicing. Are we supposed to believe that they are the Italian national side? If so where are their traditional blue warm-ups and training jerseys?
I don’t like flopping any more than anyone else but I find that video spurious at best, libelous is a better description.
I thought that you ran a decent blog here, but with that post your biases are quite clear.
    Forza Italia!

  4. Ha, ha, ha. Hey Matt did you hear that? Its the sound of a joke going over your head. Yeah I agree there is too much complaining about this – suck it up and get over it. I can’t recall complaints after the South Korea/Italy game in 2002 – ha ha ha.
Flopping/Diving/Simulation should result in a special pink card (for women’s games it can be a blue card! – or should that be a red, white and green card?)
    Debole Italia!

  5. The sportscasters here in the usa paid special attention to the diving and the theatrics,They singled out Portugal,Brazil and Italy as the worst offenders. Also the internet is full of video clips of Matterezi and his violent tackling, this man should be banned for life.
